M2M Fenders at METS 2008

I am delighted to confirm that M2M Fenders had a very successful show at METS 2008 - the Marine Trade show in Europe.

We've had interest from yacht builders, charter companies, and marine distributors throughout Europe and the Middle East.

Now the fun and games begin - turning interest into orders - I'll keep you posted.

M2M Fenders and Regal Boats

These are the first set of fender covers we have made for a Regal Boat. We have incorporated the Regal logo with the boat name in a quality set of covers for our customer.

M2M Fenders and Southampton Boat Show 2008

What a great show. This year's Southampton Boat Show exceeded my expectations in both orders and interest. I am chuffed to bits that our branded boat fenders were on display with 8 different companies in the marina. These included Ondeck, Premier Marina Yacht Sales, Hunton Powerboats, Pearl Motor Yachts, Aboard Yachts and Finngulf, Parker RIBS, Hanse Yachts UK and Cheetah Marine.

I have picked up a lot of interest from potential customers in the UK, Ireland and Spain and as always, have met some interesting and entertaining people.

I have also managed to find a number of products which I hope to add to our range over the next few months, which will help us to expand into new markets in the UK, Europe and the Middle East. All exciting and positive stuff.

As always, the show gave me the opportunity to catch up with a lot of chums, including Commodore Yachting, Sunvil Holidays, Sail Ionian, C-Marine, D2Marine, Boatshed, Versa Dock and MRL.

M2M Fenders and Havengore London

M2M Fenders made a little bit of our own history when we became involved with the Havengore earlier on this year.

Built in 1956 for the London Port Authority, the Havengore still plies her trade on the River Thames, with the occasional visit to the Isle of Wight for Cowes Week.

During her time with the London Port Authority she performed many important duties and in 1965 she was called upon to carry the body of Sir Winston Churchill up the Thames in his State Funeral.

A beautiful craft steeped in history, she is available for exclusive cruises on the River Thames.

M2M Fenders Cowes Week 2008

Our Cowes Week 2008 started off with fitting fenders onto the pontoons at the Sealift in the River Medina. Not an easy job at the best of times. Never having being blessed with an ounce of patience or DIY skills, drilling into hardwood from a small boat proved a tad too tricky.

Not one to give up lightly, reverting to hanging off the pontoons proved the easier option - despite breaking a drill bit and kicking a drill into the sea - DOH!! Anyway - the results were worth the 5 hour struggle.


We attended the launch of Boatshed Boat Bid on the Saturday hosted by Ondeck and Earls Court Boat Show - all very exciting - and then spent the day wandering and trying to spot M2M fenders on display (maybe I need to get out more).

Anyway, managed to spot Made 2 Measure Fenders on ONDECK a new Elan supplied by Premier Yacht Sales and Sail4Cancer fenders on the Profile Sailing Beneteau.

Not a bad showing for Cowes Week 2008.
