M2M Fenders happy customer

It is always great when you have a happy customer. But when a happy customer goes to all the trouble of sending you photos, the very least you can do is show them off.

My thanks to Carl Porter for these photos of his Fairline motor yacht 2Seas and her set of new personalised boat fenders. They will also be appearing on our new online store under custom branded fenders.

Theo's Future

Congratulations to Mike and his crew - a third of the way completed, with many adventures and stories to tell - Mikes Blog. Sounds like they are being spoiled rotten wherever they go, while spreading the word and raising funds for Theo's Future. Keep at it Mike!!

Mike and plucky Theo's Future make it to sunny Cornwall, despite the inclement weather and some adventures. Well I guess it would be a tad dull and boring without a few adventures and tales to tell.

Theo was born, happy and healthy, on New Year's Eve 2006. At the age of six months, he was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition of the retina called Leber's Congenital Amaurosis (LCA). He is now blind, and there is no treatment or cure - yet.

Theo's godfather Mike has set about raising funds £7,600 pledged so far, towards the cost of a Light Scanner System (costs £27,000) for the renowned team at Moorfields Eye Hospital and UCL Institute of Ophthalmology, who are carrying out pioneering research into LCA.

Mike is raising these funds by sailing an 19' Cape Cutter called Theo's Future around Britain, leaving Bosham Quay on 5th July 2008 at 9.30 am - time and tide waits for no man.

I am chuffed to bits to announce that Marinestore Chandlers will be offering our personalised fenders via their on line store Marinestore Chandlers, as well as in their 4 UK based stores at Maldon, Burnham on Crouch, Walton on the Naze and West Mersea.

Marinstore Chandlers recently received a prestigious award for their retail achievements at the BBex show 2008.

We had 3 customers exhibiting at RIBEX this year, Parker RIBS, MRL (Predator and Stingher RIBS) and Wahoo RIBS. All had our fenders on display - thanks guys.

We also received a lot of interest from other RIB companies and are very hopeful that we will soon have a number of them as customers.

One of the highlights of our visit was a blast in a Parker RIB. With 2 x 250 on the back it wasn't slow. The donuts were entertaining, especially when they were so tight water was coming on board. Great fun - but I can't help thinking driving one would be more fun than hanging on like a lunatic with flattened cheeks and tears streaming - despite sunglasses.

The RNLI weren't impressed bless them - something about speeding within the Medina - at least I thinks thats what they said. Cheers Rich - hope for a repeat soon.

Made 2 Measure Fenders Dubai Boat Show

We exhibited again at the Dubai Boat Show 2008 and received a lot of interest in our branded boat fenders from a number of boat builders, dealers and distributors in Dubai and the Middle East region.

We look forward to doing business in the region before the end of 2008.
